Alberta Aviation Museum

Alberta Legislature

Experience parliamentary democracy at work in Alberta. Tours of the Legislature Building and Interpretive Centre can be tailored to your class or group with topics including levels of government, public policy or the role of elected representatives. There are other programs like Mock Legislature, which is a program with role-play for Grade 6 students that gives students a chance to experience first hand the parliamentary process. Edmonton Corn Maze

Visit Edmonton’s original corn maze where our huge, mind-bending corn maze will keep you guessing! Each year we unveil a new and exciting maze design and look forward to getting thousands of visitors lost. This years maze design promises to provide an amazing aerial view as well as a challenging maze. Though the correct pathways can be walked in under 30 minutes, most directionally-challenged visitors – adults and children alike – will require about one hour to travel through the maze of more than 5 km of twists and turns and 85 decision points.

To find the maze, take the Anthony Henday to Lessard Rd (approximately 45th ave). Turn west on Lessard Rd. Turn left onto 199st at the t- intersection and continue south to 23rd ave. Fort Edmonton Park

Muttart Conservatory

The Muttart Conservatory, located in the North Saskatchewan River Valley is Edmonton’s premier horticultural attraction. It features four beautiful glass pyramids.

The Muttart was recently renovated and reopened mid 2009. New programming space was added. All school programs have been redeveloped and include hands-on activities.

Prairie Gardens and Greenhouses

Prairie Gardens and GreenhousesBirthday and small group parties. Wagon rides, petting farm, old-fashioned farm fun, campfire hot dog roast, Great Prairie Corn Maze in fall. Located near Bon Accord, 25 km north of Edmonton.

Royal Alberta Museum

Royal Alberta Museum is closed, effective March 17, 2020.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health, has recommended during the latest COVID-19 update that gathering spaces in the province be closed. Museums, historic sites, interpretive centres and the Provincial Archives of Alberta were included in that recommendation.

Memberships and Bookings

  • This closure includes any programming or Facility Rentals.
    • Current facility rentals will be cancelled or postponed. No future bookings are being taken at this time.
  • For those patrons with Mammoth Passes, we will be issuing an extension to your pass.
  • For those patrons with Experience Alberta History passes, we will be issuing an extension to your pass.

The safety and protection of our patrons and staff are of primary importance to us. Please watch our website for future updates regarding our facility.

Rutherford House

Edmonton Rutherford HouseRutherford House Provincial Historic Site is the home of the first Premier of Alberta, Alexander Cameron Rutherford.
 
In 1911, A.C. Rutherford and his wife Mattie moved into this beautiful brick mansion near the university campus.
 
Today, this restored and furnished post Edwardian home maintains the Rutherford tradition of hospitality and offers visitors a glimpse into the past with costumed interpreters, guided tours and special events.

Attractions like Galaxyland and World Waterpark. Bring your group to one of the attractions. Group rates are available. Just play for the day or learn about physics on the rides. New indoor interactive water play area was added in spring 2008 to the waterpark.
